Meetings
Regular meetings of the Sonoma Valley Unified School District Board of Trustees occur on the second Tuesday of each month and are conducted at the Community Meeting Room (177 First Street West) August through June. For the 2011-2012 School Year, the January and February Board Meetings will be held on the third Tuesday of the month at the District Offices (17850 Railroad Avenue). Special meetings may be held at District Office or other nearby locations. Please see our calendar to view times and locations.
Closed session begins at 5:00 p.m. and open session at 6:30 p.m., unless otherwise stated. Public comment occurs at the beginning of each meeting.

Policies & Regulations
The governing board of each school district is required to prescribe and enforce rules consistent with the law, or with the rules prescribed by the State Board of Education. The Sonoma Valley Unified School District Policy Manual contains official policies and procedures that have been adopted by the Governing Board. Our policy manual was created in conjunction with the California School Board's Association (CSBA).
