Our Mission

Welcome to the Sonoma Valley Unified School District where we do what it takes to build pathways to success for every student!

The vision of the Sonoma Valley Unified School District is for all students to be college and career ready by the time they graduate from high school.

Sonoma Valley, nestled in the heart of the wine country, is about one hour north of San Francisco between the Mayacamas and Sonoma Mountains in southeastern Sonoma County. Our District serves over 4,600 students in grades K-12 as well as provides a selection of classes for adults. Our facilities include four neighborhood elementary schools consisting of grades K-5, one K-5 dual immersion magnet school, two middle schools, one K-8 Montessori-based charter school, one K-8 Waldorf charter school, one community school with grades 7-10, one high school, one continuation high school and one adult school.
