Volunteer and Donation Opportunities

The Vision of the Sonoma Valley Unified School District is for all students to be ready for college and career upon graduation from high school
Volunteer!
If you would like to volunteer your time, there are numerous opportunities. We are specifically looking for volunteers for our Schools of Hope Program and for our Teacher Support Network Program. Please click on the following link to the Sonoma Valley Education Foundation’s webpage for more details on both programs www.svgreatschool.org If you are looking for a specific volunteer opportunity or if you have a particular area of interest, please give us a call at 935-4246 and we’ll be more than happy to assist you!

In order for all students to be ready for college and career, the School Valley Unified School District (SVUSD) in partnership with the Sonoma Valley Education Foundation (SVEF) has set the following goals for academic success, which are also articulated in the district’s Strategic Plan: The key programs are supported by community funding, foundations and state and federal grants.
A. All students will have a high quality preschool experience
B. All students will be reading at Grade Level by the end of third grade
C. All students will be proficient in English upon entering sixth grade
D. All students will be ready to enroll in college prep courses upon entering ninth grade
